A Figure-It-Out RP of Mystery, Mini-Games, and More
Many mysteries are afoot in the town of Umarok, where Alliance Highschool is alive and bustling with a diverse student body. Before Headmaster Aaltonen founded Alliance, it was known as the Walter Hazelwood Institute for Tertiary Education, a special university for genius and prodigal children. That was years ago, before Walter Hazelwood allegedly went mad and disappeared, leaving his 'children' to either follow in his insanity or try futilely to reintegrate into society.
After a ten year hiatus, Alliance High opened, promising its student a haven from discrimination and isolation. On the surface, Alliance High is a progressive private institution, wrought with the same problems as any other. Some students are motivated by money, pretty faces, aced tests, or illegal drugs, others are doing everything they can just to see tomorrow. Some have gathered together, starting Faculties that always have a dark side no matter how noble they appear, and others have rejected the prospect altogether.

Get What You Give is a made to last RP with admin dedicated to keeping it alive long term and continuously producing content and events to supplement players' experience. GWYG strives to get everyone involved, collaborating 1:1 to ensure everyone gets a chance to explore the characters and plots they want to. Advancement is very much on a "Get What You Give" basis, but what exactly does that mean?
Active players are rewarded with more important positions in board-wide storylines, or special hints, clues, keys, and access to restricted boards. Dedication offers players more opportunities to play a wider range of characters (teachers, townies, gang/group leaders, and unique NPCs). Don't like age restrictions? Start out as a student and prove you're dedicated enough to play a townie. Don't like the classic high school setting? Work your way up to a drug dealer from the city, a private investigator the students pay for information, or even play that homeless bum who mostly just lives in the woods.
Every new character is given a special sliver of information about the board-wide mystery that only they know. Will you use it to help contribute to the goals of your peers? Or hoard it away and let them try to force it out of you?
Of course, participation in these plots is not mandatory. Feel free to use the immersing setting to develop your own subplots, relationships, and the inevitable drama.
