Long ago, there were strange creatures witted with decieving skills to somehow change shape from their normal human forms and into one designated animal. These magical beings were named "shapeshifters." If angered in this form, they had unbelievable power excelled beyond the actual animal they shift into. Many superstitious people started to uplift rebellions against such creatures, and so the massacres began. Thousands of the shapeshifters were slaughtered in humiliating and torturing ways, and they brought along with them many humans. The humans thought that they had wiped them all out; although there were still several left. They kept themselves in hiding and never shifted forms in front of human eyes. Despite their strength, their numbers were few and the humans were many...
In this day and time, the shapeshifters are still mostly in hiding, although some of them have grown weary of their current obscurity. They are starting to rejoin civilization once again, but this is a very dangerous feat. Some of them have made friends; others romances. But still others refuse to seek peace between humans and shapeshifters ever again. Will the fate of the shapeshifters be held in human hands? Will they be slaughtered into extinction, or will the humans grow to accept them? Will the shapeshifters ever have a carefree lifestyle, or will they always live in constant fear?
